Man that sucks. I never ship UPS freight, they are brutal. I work at a car dealership and we get body panels that have boot prints on them, fork truck holes and beat to crap. Never and I mean NEVER put fragile on a box shipped UPS. They will test how "fragile" it is.

This is sad to see. It's not like these hoods grew on a tree and can easily be replaced.

Sorry Guys!!!

I maybe should have chimed in on this earlier since I work in the shipping industry.

My $0.02 on the large parcel delivery would be go call DHL. DHL has a much better reputation for handling high value/fragile freight.

Also, if due to this damage there will be a second production run, please let me (us) know. I would be interested.

Cool Re: Vented Carbon Fiber Hood Design Status

I'm not to familiar with carbon fiber to know what would work best for protection. It looks like I can just wax it like normal but would feel more comfortable with some feed back before its hammer time.

Keep me in the Loop, so that we can get you another hoop asap in time for spring.

C. Garcia, Have you have your inspection? Give me a call

C. O'Keefe: FedEx... Pick Up Friday!!!

Lets work together to get these issues and shipments completed!

It doesn't bow the hood or anything when trying to close? I just got my car back and will do doing my hood on Sunday and don't want to crack it already.

works ok on mine, When I close mine I push on the top of the hood and I will grab the strut and help compress it..

Hey Med

I know you wanted to get additional packing material, has FedEx picked up the hood yet? I have an overseas business trip the end of March so I'd like to receive the hood before I go.
