Could someone that recieves the hood please take detailed, hi-resolution photos and let us know how the install goes

 

You better believe there will be pic's from all the guys. Especially with a one of a kind part like this.

 

Med - I absolutely love it. Great job and I hope that you 1) find enough interested people after these are dispersed that you consider a second batch 2) continue looking at other parts of the car to modify.

 

I really wanted to be a part of this group buy but 3 things stopped me. 1.- My business has fallen into the red. 2.- The rules I race under assess points for a light weight hood. 3.- Max couldn't find the time to take decent photos of the hood. We have a hundred taken in shadows, low light and with a cell phone. A hundred pictures and not one clear shot was enough for me to drop out. A bunch of fuzzy pictures and lots of trust me won't make me let go of $1000.00. When the delivered and installed hood pictures are posted and the reviews are in ...

Pictures were posted from a good camera by my self and members that went to CAA. Hood on & off the car! So, It is what is. I do know one thing, another bulk buy will be a very long shoot. If anything

Please don't highjack this thread with what ifs. I've delt with what If's for over 12 months for people to still have "if" you can do this one more thing type of issue.

I may have missed out but I'm telling you why, in the end, I didn't join in. It doesn't really matter if I'm correct or incorrect. I'll go back and look at the pictures posted but what i saw again and again were pictures in rain, shadows, in the dark, fuzzy, etc. People asking for better pictures. I'm just relaying why I opted to pass. I expect the hood to be first class and if it is ... your the man Max!

well med i didnt buy a hood either. but if you make another run and it looks like my 32 hood im in!!!

seriously i can empathize with you. the wavetrac has been going on forever it seems. so much work put in by so many to get it done, it is a fine feeling when it shows up!

Don't give up yet, I'm sure if there are enough responses after seeing them in person and fully pre-paid orders, he might be able to be convinced....but let's give it some time and see. Who know, maybe I'll win the lottery by then and front the money for him to begin production...

 

Sounds good, I will PM you my cell as well. With the holiday, time will be a precious commodity, but hopefully we can get together at least briefly, I want to see the finished product bad

 

If/when I get back to work I would love to be in helping get a second run on this hood..... I think it looks great! I would also like to see and hear from the guys that are getting them installed..... they should look super HOT!

Nope, still waiting...Im hoping before the end of the month.

 

I've been tracking the freight shipment on the bulk order, and we should be squared away by the week of the 17th. I'll send PM's to everyone.

The freight shipment of bulk units are on schedule for a Jan. 16th arrival at exchange destination #1 of #2. Once the units are loaded up for destination #2, I will then receive a date and time for the final pick up location in Chicago. All of the paper work was filed with a shipping agency to handle our logistics. I intend to have the hoods mailed out at that time. Please stay posted for shipping information or to set up a pick up time.

The 16th is a freight connection for Chicago. Only till after the connection will I receive a eta on Chicago.

Bulk units arrived on schedule to the 1st destination. I received the paper work today at 4pm and forwarded everything to the agent in Chicago that's handling our release papers. I should have the Chicago ETA by the end of this week from the agent depending on how fast he can get all the paper work cleared....
