PS - Just so everyone knows the ad at the top of the page says that G-Force High Performance Chips at Wholesale Prices has a $69 dollar chip that can give us 60 hp and +7mpg! JEEZE THEY MUST BE AWESOME! Maybe they'll get me a v-Tec sticker that'll give me some more boost as well.

 

Awsome Mad_Med05X. What was the final decision different mesh or the jag vents?

I believe everyone will be pleased.


The mesh design was scraped due to how the enhanced vent design would not fit the original mold that was fabricated. I have not seen the finish product; nevertheless, I think they nailed it after 11 months.

Just for the record, I really liked the 1st prototype and till this day it still stops traffic! Nevertheless, I can understand a little protection from the elements can go a long way.

 

So, no vents? Or really restrictive ones?

 

The final vent design will not offer as much heat dissipation as the prototype, nevertheless we will be happy with the design.

I should receive my update any time this week or the next.

I will be in Philly from the 21-24 with limited internet access.

And if nothing else people can always choose to open them up themselves and put mesh in place if it's a weekend racer that will never see rain.

As far as product in hand, I will have my one sample by Sept, but completing the Bulk Buy in time for Sept deliveries will be very hard to do.
