People need to stop making amazing stuff for me to spend my money on. My second girlfriend is getting mad that I spend all of my money on my first girlfriend!

PS - Actually the "second" girlfriend completely supports my habit, THERE'S a keeper.

To bad you didn't remove the indent for the OEM Wing after all that body work - for a super clean look.

That looks awesome, it was hard to tell how it would look from all of the mock up pics, but that looks great. Im very grateful for you taking the time and money to do this.

For us na guys (that plan on staying na) it looks like you could modify the factory airbox to be fed straight from the hood vents, lots of cold low pressure air

Carbon fiber na wing replacement?

Oh Im so down for both. Now for a carbon hatch and finding someone to skin the roof in carbon... then it would be hot.

Windshield surrounds and the side grilles would be nice too, ultimately replacing everythign silver with carbon fiber, plus the hood, roof, and maybe just the spoiler would look awesome ino

So in other words, you want a car dipped in carbon fiber

This really is a fantastic start Med, you and your team deserve a lot of praise.

no, on this car it would serve no purpose, plus stuff like this is mostly cosmetic. I just think it would look good if the upper centerline of the car was cf, maybe even if the window trim was just black, with cf side vents and black door handles

I'm working with them on the different types of mesh they will provide with each kit! (Open Mesh / Closed Mesh) I should have more info soon!!!

Beside the vents, I think the carbon front emblem looks nice! At least we can paint them if we want! Thanks for the idea BoilerUpXFire

Next question......... I need a really nice set of revised XF Emblems!!!!!

I'm not worried anymore! Based on the poll, we should be able to get 20 deposits come sometime in May to get a group deal. Anything above that will help us all!

Damn that looks tough Med, I love it . I would, of course, want my mesh in black, but the whole project came together nicely and just as I said from the beginning, as long as they are not like $200 each the CF wings really complete the look.

As for emblems, I would contact H82BL8 (Bill) he is a good guy and has a black and stainless emblem that I have on the front of my car that would look awesome on these. I know he recently stopped selling them because his forum sponsorship ended, but last I checked he still has some around, worth a PM to find out.

My last question, when will we see this on an XF for the 'whole picture' look. Or maybe someone could photoshop this last pic onto someone's nice ride, I would certainly volunteer some pics of mine if need be

THANK YOU MADMED, you are the man.

eh, that stuff isnt made for applications like that, it has to be glued, stretched, etc.

I could either pull the roof skin off the car and have a mold made, or have a company I found skin it with real carbon

I'm sure I'll get flamed for this but I have read this whole thread this morning and I'm too lazy to go back and read it again. I have an Alabaster White roadster and even though that carbon fiber hood lolls really nice, I would want a hood like this that I can paint white. Will this option be available? I just really like the looks of this hood, I'm not all that concerned about how much it weighs.
