See my grille in Gallery, under Punkin, page 2 of albums. His is a dark gray, mine is the white. But you'll get the idea. My lowers are like his-all the way across the space, the upper is a longer rake all the way out, so I do like the upper as it makes the front sleeker. IMO, but I like yours too.

I just installed my powdercoated flat black billet grill-uppers and lowers on an Aero blue limited convertable. The color combination came out even better than expected. Pictures will be posted 3/22 in my gallery . Also, today I saw in Englewood Cliffs NJ A Maroon Coupe with black wheels (Nice). During Bike Week in early March, I saw an electric yellow Coupe in Daytona Beach Fla.(also nice). Any of our members? What's with all these crossfires in these great non stock colors?

NEED Some advice.
How do you put the zip ties through the bottom grills? You can just put them through the new grill from the front but Its sealed under the car so you can't get to the back of the original grills from the bottom and you can't get to the back of the originals from the top. Do you feed the ties in from the front only and try to fish them out from the front and zip from the front of the new grill? Thanks Ron

Remove grills like shown in the manual. Drill two small holes in the factory grill to place zip ties through to hold new grill. The other tie can go through THE open area in the factory grill.
Some pics showing the install of lower grills. Hope the tabs hold and keep these on the car when placed back in. That was the design so they should stay on the car. Does anyone know if anyone lost their grills? Ron

Hmm.... not sure if I like the lower billets over the crosshatch design. It would look better over a flat surface I would think. Is it very noticeable in person?

Without blasting with a flash at close up distance (3 feet) it looks like the following from 5 feet. Without the flash from 3 feet you can't see the bottom pattern. I took the pic this way to show the installation. Ron

Does anyone know what the pointed piece is that sticks out the front of the driver side grill. Is something suppose to be on this pointed plastic?
Here are some out side pics from 5 feet and 10 feet to see what the grills looks like without a flash bouncing off it in a garage. Thanks Ron

I think that's the outside air temperature sensor.

There was no wire connected to the back of it when the grill was taken out. Ron

There were wires behind the grill in that area. The temperature sensor is still working but not hooked to the grill. Didn't noticed it hooked to the grill when I took the grill out. Should I take out the grill and plug the wire onto this area of the grill? Should it be glued? Any instructions for this? Thanks Ron
