Default Courtesy light wire connection

Does anyone know where I can connect to the courtesy light hot line. I was thinking of putting 2 lights into the leg area of the roadster to work on door opening. Thanks Ron

A better way to do this is to use the negative door pin triggers with a relay that will turn on the respective side. the other thing you can do is go up to the lamp and grab the wire that goes hot when you open the doors.

The lamp hot wire runs down the pillar on the passanger side on my roadster. I used it to light my door sills when I open my doors.

Did you somehow remove that pillar or could you see the wire come out the bottom of the pillar at the bottom of the dash? Do you hook into that wire than get the other wire on the door guard to a ground? Do you remember the color of the hot wire? Thanks Ron

It seems like some Chrysler dealers want only $50.00 to install the lighted sills but others Chrysler dealers want $180.00. My area has the 180 dealer. Is there a set Chrysler price anywhere? Ron
