My H7 bulb headlight saga
Re: My H7 bulb headlight saga
Went to the Lasfit site as suggested by Nelson G and found two all-in-one bulbs: the H7 6000LM LCair Series and the H7 7000LM LAair Series.
What's interesting is that this text appears on the H7 7000 LM LAair Series product description, but not on the H7 6000 LM LCair one:
Nelson G: Were you able to put the dust cover back on over the H7 6000LM LCair? I assume so, but would like confirmation. Thx

● The OEM rubber dust cover can be put back on
Lasfit LAair series H7 LED bulbs are the perfect solution for vehicles with small headlight housings and round-bottom LED bulbs that come with a separate power cord, leading to a larger size and height that prevents the OEM rubber dust cover from being placed back on. This can create concerns about dust or water getting inside the headlight housing. With Lasfit LAair series H7 LED bulbs, such worries become a thing of the past, as they are designed to fit seamlessly with the OEM rubber dust cover and prevent any dust, water, or debris from entering the headlight housing.

Re: My H7 bulb headlight saga
With a little help from my friends here, I replaced the front low beams and the front turn signals. Pretty easy glad I had the 90 degree needle nose players. Dust cap on fine. I tried the high beams but the radiator overflow tank is in the way and I didn’t want to empty and remove it, not even sure how to empty it. Plus the lamp is in a deeper compartment then the low beams. I would like to replace the eye lid lights. So I’ll read again the link that Nelson posted. The low beams and turn signals are bright. Next I’ll attempt the rear lights. Any trick in removing the trunk covers to get to the lamps?
I’m liking this crossfire more everyday.

Great to hear, I’ll do them tomorrow. The passenger side eye lid bulb was a bit of a challenge.. Are the 2 eyelid lights suppose to be on all the time, mine aren’t. Not sure if they were before. They come on when the switch is turned to the middle position and the headlights. Also what do the lights do when the switch goes to P with an arrow when I turn it left?
This forum is helpful, just came back from a 130 mile ride up the Illinois Great River Rd…with the top down on a 80 degree day.

If you were driving with the lights on, when you turn off the ignition and pull the key out and leave the car, the lights will stay on for about 30 seconds then shut off automatically.
Re: My H7 bulb headlight saga
When I drive my base model roadster during the day, I turn the switch 1 click to the right. That lights up the eyelids, all 4 side marker lights, and the tail lights. I have leds in all of my lights and it makes my car easier to see by other drivers.
