Question Billet grilles

Has anybody seen any nice lower and upper billet grilles for the crossfire? I saw a few on ebay but they are the mesh grilles not to crazy about them. There was one on ebay at one time that looked nice but is not there anymore. If you have seen any nice lower and upper billet grilles please let me know. Thanks.

It's polished. I have it on mine, as does Punkin, it's called a "donoutwestgrille" for the originator of it, that the design then got swiped by someone else and Don got scwewed out of the whole mess, quite a long time ago. Anyway, I bought mine in jan 09 at airbagit.com, but I've heard spotty tales that they can no longer be found. But you can try it. mark

Doesn't look like you could work your hand by the grill for the hood latch? Squirrel Crusher

it's a tight fit, make sure you use the springs for the bottom part of the upper, the tabs just move to the screws up on top where the old grille came out. It doesn't fit the same as the original one-it's more thrust forward. I'd have preferred it more inset, but that's just me. Cover the ends somehow with either clear liquid tape or even scotch tape or I guarantee you will scrathch the grille opening fitting it in there-the ends are REALLY sharp. other than that it goes in well. I really like it on my white coupe. Did you get the lowers too, and how much are they now. I paid 400 for the uppers and the lowers in Jan 09.

I just ordered some Powder Coated Flat Black billet lowers a couple days ago. I'll let you know how they workout.

Hey bro, how's it going? Mine is polished to more match the chrome emblem above it. You can't get them on ebay anymore, but you can get one from AIM's website www.airbagit.com I found it while looking for air ride parts for my truck, lucky find! I have had issues w aim in the past for truck parts, but this grille fits like a glove!

I put a thin strip of rubber on the very ends of each rib, just to be sure they didn't scratch or chip the paint. I love it !!! There are many pictures in my Gallery.

what kind of help do you need. I have this grille. The flange extends out from the grille, attach the pieces with a screw and a not, they get moved to pount on the radiator support, and then use the springs attacheing the back to any part that will hold them in place. PM me if you need some other assistance. Mark
