Default Any tips on safe windshield molding removal?
I have a 05 LTD coupe and want to remove the windshield moldings to repaint. How do I remove them without damaging the moldings or clips? Any photos or tips would be helpful!

I did the repaint, used thin long screw drivers and pried, lifted off the shrouds off the sides first and then the top. Be S L O W and use a good flashlight to see the clips and lift there only, trying not to bow the shroud in the middle.

I went on the door side and got both sides first then the top. Woody
