Does anybody know where I can find/buy flat black paint and chrome paint that can be used on the exterior of a car? Thanks!

VHT makes good stuff in both colors (or whatever you want to call them). What are you going to paint?

 

I want to get a diffuser that needs to be painted and I also want to paint my grill and side cove/spears. To buy them off Autoxclusive is way to pricey. I figured I can do them haha.

make sure to test the paint on some spare plastic...that chrome stuff never comes out like chrome. Autozone sells both.

Yea, its hard to find legit chrome paint. A lot of "chrome" paints come out a dull metalic color.

just FYI "Chrome" paint looks more or less like a semi-polished aluminum type finish... there is no such thing as paint that really resembles chrome.... you will not see any reflection of anything in chrome paint =)

That said... I actually like the stuff... just dont expect it to resemble chrome in any way.

I've seen this stuff in person - at SEMA and elswhere - and it is AMAZING stuff. Pricey, yes, and a bit involved, but wow.

 

Wow, that stuff is crazy. And expensive!
