Default Colored side markers...

I thought there was a thread that talked about replacement bulbs for using with the clear side markers. I am not having any luck with search and colored side marker bulbs.

Does anyone know of a colored bulb that glows yellow(or red) but is not yellow when off? I thought I saw something about a silver light that glows yellow or red. Thanks for any help.

Mike, I have all 4 clear corners. I tried the silver/chrome bulbs in them and didn't like the 'off' look. Even though they are silver, they look like black spots in your clear markers. Your best bet is the LEDs which gave me the best look. But then you have to add other devices to fool the car into thinking real bulbs are there or you will get the light on dash.

I ended up using just the regular amber 194 in the fronts, and found some red 168 bulbs for the rear. If you use 194 red bulbs in the rear, they are too bright and look more pink than red.

Good luck, James

Check to see if they have what you are looking for:

www.superlumination.com Tail Light Brake Light Turn Signal LED Bulbs

I prefer the chromed bulbs myself....so you can see, it is very much a personal thing as to which you choose.
