Talking potential paint color

I need suggestions on a potential color for my alabaster limited roadster. I was thinkin about maybe a hemi orange think it would look nice with the black ragtop or would that draw too much attention. Its already a head turner I just dont want to give anybody whiplash you know.

The alabaster is great. The Gold ones are really pretty and kind of unique.

Apart from bad taste I think it is a bad idea, you would have to strip the car of all trim and doors or you would have white showing up all over the place. It would look a mess and be hard to sell.
You would need Daisy Duke sitting in it all the time to distract people from looking at your big mistake.

Be cool if one of our Photoshop proficient folks could do our car in different colors to give us some ideas.

I think the Hemi Orange would be cool.
Gonna be expensive to do it the right way.

Mine is alabaster with two tone interior. I love the color. It's easier to keep clean too. Why not just go with alabaster?
I understand you don't want to change interior and everything I just think the gold ones are pretty. The orange you chosen will probably be very nice as well.

I like the Alabaster best of all, IMO. That white really glows out on the street. To repaint it all would be a tough one, it just never seems to come out right without a complete tear off. The orange would be cool, I've always been partial to a candy orange, or like a pearl orange, I might have my motorcycle repainted that color. The other color that I think is really cool is a olive toned avocado green, lighter than the colors of the 60's but maybe more like that Pontiac Le Mans color of about 1969/1970. There was a 69 Camaro about that shade-not many ofthem though. that was a cool color, but I'm thinking lighter than that, more olive, and of course it metallic.

I've had 5-6 shops look at repainting my Crossfire and estimates are anywhere from $3500-$4500 if I do all the R&I myself with the exception of reinstalling the doors as they will need to be hung on the car to do the jambs and if I have them do it all and not touch it, that number goes all the way up to $7500-$8000. That orange would be a bad-@$$ color and great minds think alike but I don't think this is the car to do in that color and the cost of doing it just blows my mind when looking at what you have when it's all said and done. Just my two cents.

Go with the alabaster. It's a great color and it sounds like it won't cost as much.

Stay away from the Orange, you would just look like a Challenger want to be.

I've not see the color for a long time, but when I was stationed in Germany, I saw a White Pearl colored Porsche....great looking color, a black pearl would be interesting.

Mine is alabaster and it has a pearl tint to it. What's the difference in the alabaster and pearl white?

Based on that, then your car is a wanna be Mercedes....I know, it really is, but my point is this. If you are looking for a unique color, go to a custom shop and ask them to do some blending.

As I've noticed a number of rock chips on the front end, hood, and one of the rocker panels, I'd be interested to see what a Black and Blaze Red Pearl two-tone would look like; I'll have to see if a local shop can give me a sample.

Good luck and post pictures if you finalize something different.
