Question Aftermarket hood anyone?

Would anyone be interested in an aftermarket hood? If so, what would you like to see? For example...

Carbon fiber OEM replacement
Carbon fiber vented model
Fiberglass vented model
Colored carbon fiber or Kevlar
etc...

If vented, got any ideas from other hood models you've seen?

I heard there was a failed GB not too long ago. Can anyone provide a link?

Sorry I didnt see your thread before I posted. I think this would be a good idea seeing as the group buy failed IMO it is one of those thing that you have to build first then sell. I have seen some of your tib hoods, are hoods cheap enough for you to make without doing a group buy?

I love that dual vented Jag hood, I feel like that would be subtle and sexy at the same time in CF.

Well, the sideskirt GB didn't fail...others around here just wanted to do it themselves. That's fine. Hopefully it turns out ok. Too bad for some of the members of this community though because my mold would be done by now and we'd have the parts already being manufactured.

Anyhow, as for the hoods, I'd rather do a GB just to get things off the ground. I'm not going to just manufacture parts without first seeing what sort of demand there is. If there's demand, we can all settle on a design that best suits the demands of the community and I'll arrange a GB.

I can have just about ANY style hood made at any time--vented, CF, Kevlar, colored, etc. If people around here are interested, then feel free to post up with some suggestions as to what you'd like to see made.
