Default Front bumper plate holder

Hi guys,

The 2 Crossfire that I have found have the license plate holder in the front bumper.
Since here in Nevada the front license plate is not enforced, I would like to know if you think that those holes are repairable at a body shop and if anyone has done it.

Do you know of a possible price range?

Thanks a lot,

FF

If you're worried about cost, you can try what I did...Oklahoma doesn't have a front plate, either.

After removing the plate holder, I discovered that Lowe's sells plastic panel pins (the little pins that hold on all the panels inside cars). I found some that were dark gray and went with my graphite (I think they were for a Nissan). They were in the drawers with all the specialty fasteners. I had to trim the stems so they would press fit into the holes.

I would imagine that an auto parts store would have a wider color selection, or you could paint the pins to match. If you look closely on this pic, you can see what I did.

Hope this helps.

Did the same thing except got the plastic push things at the hardware store. painted our with a base coat then the yellow. had to trim them to fit. if painting do a couple of sets as the first set may get mangled up. there is a product on the web that you get, metal, called bumper plugs but it would have been $50 for the pair ours, paint from dealer $14 (use it for chips a lot) plugs $2-3. don't have a picture sorry
