haha yeah I do! Chrome is not for me, it actually was chrome when I got it and I had it powdercoated. It looks a million times better powdercoated to me. I always think of a baby being amused by shiny keys, no offense to the chrome lovers. Did you take the bracket off to paint it? It looks like its just 2 bolts holding it but I can't really see behind it.

Very nice, I have the Alabaster coupe too, and my grille that Punkin has is supposedly on it's way. We'll see. This is the horizontal bars. BTW, did you add the chromed vent fins and the chromed door handle guards? I'd love to see the side of yours better to see how they look. I did just order the handle clamshell and the chrome odometer pin covers and I was thinking of adding the vent fins on the side too. So if you get a chance upload a side shot. But the new grille looks good. Mark

I bought some por 15 semi gloss (and some latex gloves!) to paint that ******* bracket. It's supposed to snow tommorow, so I probably won't get a chance to do it this weekend. I photoshopped it to put my mind at ease.

I finally endured the cold and painted the bracket and intake clamp that were driving me nuts. In case anybody is wondering, the horn support bracket comes right out. It is held in only by 2 bolts.

I know, I am so tempted to do it, but I am afraid I will lose visibility. I think the next thing I will do is have the chrysler wings powdercoated.

Check out my pics in my gallery, I have done a 20% vinyl film on all my lenses and it looks great. You are correct in worrying that you will lose some visibility. I have 10K HIDs and they still look good, but not nearly as much light comes through to the ground, but I think it looks awesome, so I am just going to add some HID fogs for visibility and call it done

I really like the way it looks, but I am not going to do it (no time soon at least). I am going to shift my efforts back to my mustang.Just tinting the lights would turn into HIDs too would cost me a couple hundred bucks to have it done the way I like. Plus I need all the visibility I can get, the car is my daily driver. If I only drove the car and nice weather I would do it.
