Re: UK Members
Been a member for some time now but infrequent visits to site...must try harder.
Owned a 53 xfire Coupe (Met Blue) for 2.5 yrs now 60k on it.
Been a dream to drive but expensive to run. Tyres and servicing mainly but had to have bottom swivel joints (ball joints) for its 1st MOT last Dec and just replacing the front brake pads this weekend.
Nice to see so many members now as they were thin on the ground at one time.

Count me in too (very keen)... I might even be willing to do a web site and club decals/designs come the autumn.
I would love to do some car shows to really show our cars off! (although I may well have spoiled mine with far too many shiny things stuck on it - blingo).
Just got back from a road trip round cornwall, no other xfires seen (did see three ferrari's though (common as muck!) and the rubber necking was unreal.
BTW ... went to dealer today for B service and had a good look at a 2007 UK spec roadster. I could only find one difference from my 2005 ... can you spot the new stuff ?
I hate this so much, surely any newbie would instantly remove this tacky branding!

Hi,
Thanks for your concern. Not so bad on the South Coast of England, were I live, but being located near a major river in middle England is no fun at the moment and sadly a lot of people according to the press are not insured for flood damage. There is talk of the river Thames which runs through London busting its banks, lets hope not.
Ken.

Hi,
I'm more up towards the middle, 50 miles North of London. Fortunately, I'm not close to a river so have been unaffected.
I confess, it was all my fault, I bought a roadster a couple of months back and have hardly seen a dry day since...
The car is not garaged, but has held up perfectly against all the downpours we've had. Absolutely no water ingress or dampness anywhere...
