Think there's advice for this on the "short tube header" thread.
I emailed Stephanie.. hopefully she'll get a response out today and I can post where things stand.

I like MrMiata have put money into this project.. And how many times have I asked about an update.....0! and how many emails or phone calls to corky about an update or timeframe, 0!
But just like Highschool the excitement is rising and the final result is sure to satisfy and worth the wait...
Lets focus on real ?'s and leave Corky and his crew alone so they can turn wrenches instead of being on the phone or computer....

The question was asked on the Forum, that's not bothering Corky, that's
letting them do their work. It was supposed to be a 8 to 10 week build approx. and people are just looking for a update.
Corky and Stephane both said phone anytime. I called once to give my deposit. Read page 15 post 22. Page 7 post 22.

Re: BEGi Crossfire Turbo Kit by Bell Experimental Group
LOL you guys crack me up!
Been doing 12 hours shifts 6 days a week so haven't been on.
Here's the UPDATE!
Hi DJ,
We are having more fun with this thing than you can imagine. When Mercedes put the Ceasefire together some diabolical engineer took it upon himself to be certain the aftermarket would need to rise to new levels in order to make a decent performance improvement. I think we’ve figured out enough by now to know we have them beaten.
We have mocked up several options without settling on what appears to be the obvious best. I’ve even looked at a single turbo mounted up front and run by only three cylinders.
The computer took a bit of learning on our part. Stephanie has been corresponding with OBD Tuning in Hamburg, Germany and they have been great help. It looks like they will take us on as one of their USA tuners. That should give us the backup we need for higher boost pressures.
Although we’ve tinkered with the fuel pressures enough to know the rising rate regulator will do the job, we’ve not installed one yet. Clamps on the fuel lines serve as very crude regulators.
None of the efforts to put the turbo up front have panned out. Unless we find the right combo next week, we will return to the rear mount position. A satisfactory cross over tube from the opposite bank is the biggest problem with the front turbo.
We put it back in running condition for a few days to finish two bread and butter jobs. Both will be delivered by Wednesday next. I’d suggest by Wednesday we’ll begin converting the rear mock up to real parts.
No idea of finish date yet. Let me run it under boost once and we’ll know what works and what doesn’t. At that point we can offer a reasonable finish date.
With work that will stay in place rather than trial and scrap stuff, I’ll keep you better informed of the details.
Best regards,
Corky

Thanks for the breaking news! At least we know they are getting to the meat next to the bone now.. LOL. Just having a pretty good idea of how complex our cars are and the lights going out on the thread made for my concerns about "Did they hit a brick wall"..
Re: BEGi Crossfire Turbo Kit by Bell Experimental Group
If anyone has had thoughts of being the second prototype car on this project please PM me. Be aware of being without your car for a few weeks for this.
I'll check back in tomorrow afternoon for any responses.

Sounds like you guys are about to be "boosted"... A lot of people have been waiting for this news for years. Glad the pros have taken this on....good luck NA crowd.

Could be wrong though.
Still check this thread every day hoping for some signs of power results. I can handle everything myself with the exception of overcoming the fuel delivery issues, which is what I am waiting for on this project.

Never dreamed I'd find myself in this much stress over something car related..
If this drags into next month past our road trip I will see what I can do about the drive to Texas. I have a few friends there that may meet me part way and drop off the car for me. It is just a tons of maybes. Sorry I can not just say yes right out.
Plus don't they want an automatic for the second car?
