Smile Crossfire Limited Cat-Delete good?

Hi folks, I just purchased a 2004 Crossfire Limited and I love it!

However, I want a more aggressive sound since it's a manual V6. I'm considering doing a muffler and catalytic converter delete, but I'm concerned about the long-term effects of removing the catalytic converter.

Has anyone here done a catalytic converter delete? Do you think it's necessary to achieve a better/high pitch sound? Also, is the smell too bad?

Any input would be appreciated!

I have a manual and just put in a MagnaFlow cat back system. I love it because it's not too loud cruising around town, but gets a nice growl when you get on it.
That might not be what you're looking for if you want that boy racer fart can exhaust.

I know Canada has varying inspection requirements in respect to emissions. So consider the cat delete not only in respect to where you live, but also as to the future and when you sell or renew your insurance.
