Default Crankshaft sensor

Hi there,

It appears that my crankshaft sensor is broken.
Where is the crankshaft sensor located and how do reach that spot to replace the sensor?

Thanks in advance for you help.

I found the second site was for the camshaft sensor not the crankshaft sensor and the first site did not work for me.
Why do you think the sensor is not working?
Look in the Engine Electrical section in the red link “Index of Crossfire……... “ in my signature for the instructions.
It is easier to remove the screw before unclipping the connector, do not drop the screw.

Dont drop the screw indeed. If you do and cant get it, forget it. It will lodge itself in a wedge space against the shield plate backing and its not coming out even with a magnet. You'll be ordering a new screw and waiting a few days for it to arrive like my dumazz.
