Default Help With Installing New Tranny Plug Connector

Thanks to everyone's help here, I have successfully installed a new conductor plate and sensors to address my limp mode issue. I am at the end and am having the darnedest time putting back the new connector for the tranny plug. For the life of me I cannot get the center 7 mm bolt to catch. Am I supposed to push the connector all the way down into the housing or what. I am stuck here. IS THERE A certain alignment of the pin holes. I am at a loss here and the is the only thing holding me up in finishing the job. I saw where you wrestlers with this and any assistance you can provide will be a great help.

I guess the main thing I need to know is there a certain alignment of the pins to holes that I should be following and am I supposed to be pushing the connector all the way down into the hole.

I have been really struggling with this as everything else went fine in changing the conductor plate. I just cannot simply install my new connector for the tranny plug.

It's been years since I did mine. Just make sure you don't "make" it fit.
That's why I had to do mine over. I jacked up the connector making it fit.
Take a break and try, try again!

I will tell you that the previous video you sent me in a prior thread was dead on point and helped me easily change the conductor plate with no issues. I followed the video step by step and it made the job very easy. I cannot now believe putting this connector cap back on for the tranny plug is holding me up from completing the job

Okay I have watched all of the videos and done all of the research on installing this electrical tranny plug and so I know I am doing it correct after watching over 20 videos But for the life of me no matter how much I coat the new connector with tranny oil I cannot get it to push all the way into the cavity. Is there some other lubricant you guys can suggest. I know not to use grease as that will compromise the rubber gaskets.

I have where other forum members struggled t get the connector seated or pushed all the way in. Any suggestions would really help
