Default Needswings Oil Catch Can

Hi Guy's < just bought the oil catch tank from Needswing with the front camber bolts and the speed of delivery from the USA to the UK was amazing.
I have a question about the catch tank as I have a UK 6 speed manual N/A and I cannot work out where to put the unit as there is not much space . Anyone sorted this out in the past?
Any help would be appreciated.
cheers, Ian.

Look at the upper right hand corner of this pic of ala_xfire's engine compartment. Catch can is designed to go just in front of brake fluid master cylinder and bolts on underneath.

Hmmm......never thought about that
Are the engine compartments reversed on a European right hand steering Crossfire ?
I have ever seen a pic of one of those under the hood or if I did I didn't notice.
Anyone here who can post a pic and clarify this ?

The brake assy. and fuse box are switched over for the battery and ECU box. Pause at 1:10 for a look:

Go to the link in my signature, go to the bottom of the list and you will come to the title NeedsWings Documents and find the document on the catch can instal.
It shows the LHD instalation but I am sure you can do something similar.
It is the NeedsWings how to, others have not received instal instructions in the past, whoever packs them is omitting to add the instructions.

Gentlemen = Not to sound ignorant but, what is/does the oil catch can do? Obviously, as it's name implies, it catch's oil, but from where. I just bought my first Crossfire, a 2005 model, so I may have what seems like some silly questions. My theory is "if you don't ask, you'll never know".

I did notice a little oil under my new, to me, Crossfire. Very little, but still there. The man I purchased the car from told me that the dealer slightly overfilled the oil on the last change and that I would notice a "high" indicator on the dash. He told me to just turn the small dial and the indicator would go away. All of this happened on the way home. In the past, I've always worried about a blown seal if the oil level was too high. Does a catch can help in this department, the slight overfill and the spot under the car?

Please bare with me as a new, first time owner. Any information will be greatly appreciated. By the way, my car is a "limited" and has an automatic trans.

Thanks in advance,

Jim

I empty it after every second oil change, thats about 8k miles,
there is not much in it maybe a 1/4 cup but its better there than thru the intake !

Heres a recent pic showing my RHD catch can .

I change my oil every 6000 miles and I have had a Needswings Oil Catch Can on my Crossfires for 14 years now
Last week I changed my Oil and Filter and today I drained my Needswings Oil Catch can and got about 3oz of oil out from it
I highly recommend a Oil Catch Can on our Crossfires to prevent all this oil from re-entering your throttle body as it is designed to by the factory design

Was that accumulation from one oil change?

I thought I drained it last year but I may not have so it might be 12,000 miles
