Default Replacing the clutch?

Hello folks,
My clutch has been acting up for a couple months on my 2004. It will slip/skip when accelerating from a stop. I haven't noticed a problem shifting to other gears or accelerating once I'm moving. Also, it will usually stop doing this after about 10 miles when the car warms up. I've decided this is just a worn clutch and will only get worse. Do you think this a valid conclusion or should I be looking at other potential problems?

If I decide on replacing the clutch, I found this guide which will be very helpful.https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...-04-coupe.html

I was just wondering is this clutch kit my best option at the moment?

Also, are there any special tools or other parts I should be ordering to do the job? Or will this kit include everything that I need?

Thank you very much
James

Clutch replacements are a ***** unless you have access to a lift, they can be done with the car on jack-stands but it will be a PTA. The LUK clutch kit is a good OE quality kit.
