I would like to. It's hard to judge someone you've never met but everything I've heard and my personal interactions would suggest that you are spot on, someone I could hoist a few with.

Should the engine control relay hum when the motor is running? The black plastic housing for the ECU and the ECR has a hum coming from it. I see rock Auto sells this relay for just $127. Anyone know if that is an OEK MB part? Doesn't seem like somebody would make them besides MB but what do I know! Thanks. I know the PUMP is good and the SC clutch activates when hot wired, something in between. Mark

Probably not OEM, but many members here have bought them from RockAuto and they worked just fine.
Glad to hear you were finally able to test the clutch.
Did you test all the fuses on the top of your RCM with a meter or test light ?
Sometimes they can be blown and you can't see it with your eye.
I had one RCM a fellow in Pensacola sent me ( I sent him my spare ), it was fine except the engine control relay would not energize.
I sent it to tighed1 and he replaced the relay for me and it's fine now.

If you haven't done the RCM resolder yet, then send your board to tighed1 NOW. DO NOT buy a new board as it will develop the same problem as the OEM one (same bad solder used). Let tighed1 do his magic on the board you have and you'll never have to worry about it again, plus it will fix a plethora of problems associated with the board. And you really can't beat the price!

I looked at mine and thought the solder looked fine but a willing to try anything as it sounds like this fellow does more than inspect them. Unfortunatly I am guessing at this point but I have some time.

That hum is something everyone that has a SC powered motor should have. Turn the key to position 2 and listen, it is a motor that brings/circulates cool air thru the box holding the ECM and the relay! I must have gotten better hearing as I don't recall that the whole time I have owned the car1
Nw I am not so sure the rely is part of this, time for a professional diagnosis I think.

All models have that fan in the control module box, not just the SRT models.
I still think that the MAP or IAT sensor is faulty.

Jerry from Eurocharged is going to take my ECU and reflash it to stock at his facility to rule out any issues there. I expect to send it out next monday the 12th. Mark

BOOST! I did some datalogging and saw the throttle never got beyond 58%. Emailed Jerry and he sent a different tune and had me disconnect the battery for a bit and then BOOST! Finally. I am so pleased. 80-100mph in 3 seconds or less again. Thanks to all here for the help. Mark

That's a lot of wasted time and effort for a software glitch.

SOMEHOW THE ORIGINAL TUNE THREW OFF THE TPS SETTING. JERRY SENT ME A TUNE AFTER I TOLD HIM ABOUT THE TPS NOT GOING PAST 58%. IT RAN JUST LIKE THE FIRST TUNE I LOADED, IDLED AT 1000RPM AND VERY ERRATIC THEN HE HAD ME DISCONNECT THE BATTERY AS HE SAID THAT WAS HOW TO RESET THE tps. WELL AFTER RESTARTING THE MOTOR IT IDLES GREAT AND A QUICK BLAST DOWN THE STREET GAVE BOOST! I HAE 1 MORE TUNE TO ADD THAT ELIMINATES ANY TORQUE RESTRICTIONS AS I GET A HICCUP AFTER THE SHIFTS QUITE OFTEN. THE CAR IS A BLAST AGAIN AND NOW IT IS INTAKE MOD OR EXHAUST. MARK
PS: THANKS TO ALL.

i don't worry about it myself but on the intersate here in florida 80 is the norm and when passing the car does hit 100mph very quickly. I do not condone speeding, i was just so excited after struggling for what seemed like a month!
