Quick question - I live in the UK so it gets very wet, and my car lives outside. I'd love to do a dcai but would want the engine cover to stay in place, however that'll need to come off for this.
Anyone got a NA and done this and kept either the original engine cover or put another one on?

The one ala_xfire showed above is mainly used with the SCAI from Needswings.
What I have on my '05 Limited is the cover off a C240/320 MB. This provides 50% more air flow and uses larger filters, and works great with the updated 74mm TB and 3" MAF. Straight plug & play!
