LTB 74mm TB & 3in MAF
Re: LTB 74mm TB & 3in MAF
Has anyone had an issue with the hose coming off of the elbow between the intake and throttle body? Mine is right against the firewall and rubs just a bit. After some hard driving, the hose works off because of the movement of the engine and the rub. I've done everything I can think of to get a gap between the firewall and the intake, but have had no success. I'm thinking the elbow needs to be just a few degrees tighter, or a bit longer, to get the hose clamp away from the firewall. Any ideas? I may try to take some photos tomorrow.

1. trim about 1/4" off the 90 deg silicone elbow at the throttle body.
2. Use 'T' bolt clamps, not screw clamps.
I never had this issue, my NW single CAI ( old style ) clears the firewall by at least 1/2 "
( you also might have busted motor mounts )
