coeky mentioned that he wanted to be ready to accept PT1 in mid December. He has told me that he needs about 8 weeks to complete but in his letter in post #1 that he would like to be under the gun for 8-10 weeks. PT2 would be 4 weeks after that and be used for documenting the install and producing a manual as well as any improvements. If improvements are made PT1 gets the improvements for free. I need to ask him when depostis are needed. He doesn't seem to be in a hurry on this.

I was wondering about the deposit myself. Almost thinking at this point with the sincere commitments from everyone maybe the 2 grand is a non issue now... I'm sure having partners in business there would be concerns of a 4 unit production run.

I am pretty sure he will require the deposits but he probably won't want them until until he starts on the first car. The cars he does will require a partial payment when he starts work. I am not sure about what the partial payment is. the rest of us will need to send the kit deposits at some point. I am sure he will let us know when that time comes.

This is the same cover I painted the factory Silver. It really gives the car a great updated OEM look in my opinion.

I was kinda wondering if we as a turbo group wont end up "aritificially" inflating the prices in the need to get one. Oh..and looking at it online, I'm guessing to "remove" the Mb logo and writing one would actually have to sand the whole area smooth to look right? Looks like it's kinda got a grainy texture?

it is textured and if you wanted to remove the MB markings you would want to take it all the way down smooth.

Hey Guys; I've been following the whole LantanaTX / Corky thread ...
Please put me down on the list as well!
My girl's going to need a clutch soon... (I can hear the throw-out bearing)
I was wondering if anyone's found a beefier clutch to replace the stock setup yet. Is there ANYTHING else out there?
