So....what's up guys??
Thank you for contributing to this project and giving positive feedback to motivate other company's to make products for are NA Crossfire's.... And we wonder why they are not spitting out products weekly.....
Anything GREAT is worth waiting for.... We are passed first base with BEGI, we are rounding second, and when we finally score.... It will be a homerun.... This is not some turbokit.net/ etc. company.... Patience....

I do not want to loose my custom muffler but I am willing to for the safety of having the turbo tucked in a nice heat shielded safe place. I was looking under my passenger seat last night trying to figure out where they decided to put it and how in the world it is not going to scrap when I go over speed bumps haha.

I hope I do not have to un-lower my car to make it work.

If it is a back- flow problem with our mufflers, I was thinking about cutting the top, gutting it and re welding it back up . I'm not to sure why we are getting rid of the mufflers. As for my patience, I took the man for his word of 8 to 10 weeks and we are not even to the tuning stage. Which is going to be another exercise in patience.
impatiently waiting

it will probably be at least another 2 months until the kit is out. So you might want to brace yourself for more waiting.

Personally I do not want the product rushed. I want it done right and a lot of times doing something right means you have to go off schedule.

No ,no,no ..say it isn't so. Where are you getting your information? Off schedule sounds like a understatement. What now, annual holidays?

Perhaps you should have read the many many many threads about projects that did or did not come to pass quickly for this car before just signing on. Not one of them happened in any kind of short order no matter what kind of schedule was given.

The ones that were rushed (and still came in late) made owners unhappy. Aftermarket upgrades always take way more time than anyone ever thinks. Especially when you throw a car that not many people have dealt with and say make it faster.

Then thrown in the having to wait for all of us to get our deposits to them which will not cover any of the cost (so they are basically working for free) for something that has not been done before (in a professionally designed manner) but we want it right now. We have to have it right now.

Do I want it right now? Of course I do. But I am not going to sit around bitching and complaining about having to wait? No, because I am not a child and I know good things come to those with the patience enough to wait. Does it suck to have to wait? Of course it does but I am not going to be a baby about it. Do I wish we got an update every day? Sure I do but I also know I would rather them be working on the project than updating us constantly.

So if it concerns you so much, perhaps you should put you spot up for sale. i am sure someone will buy out your deposit and the you can wait on the sidelines to purchase one after the initial run.

I am pretty sure the headers have become a pipe dream haha. At least we have photos showing DJ's turbo-less car still exists haha.

Yeah, I'm about to follow Steve's lead and demand a refund of the deposit, as offered by Aleks from Speedriven.

Looking again at the photos of the car that BEGI has put up... I am thinking maybe they are going to replace a rear cat with the turbo? I could see how that could cradle up into that spot nicely. That would fit with the 3 cylinder thinking I suppose..

If you had never driven a Crossfire and someone handed you the key.. would you be in a hurry to get it back?

Probably be a month of test driving with the turbo too! LOL.

I wish Rudy could have made sure that the project was finished before leaving but when you get a better offer you get a better offer. Even if it sucks for us. It sure would be nice to see the headers happen though. Especially because I think the headers/turbo combo would be a great set up for us Limited owners... You traitor... I know you got your baby smashed just so you could switch over to the SRT6 side of the force.

That is true, they will need a ton of data logging to make sure the car is all tuned right. Web 3.0 has what 5k miles and is still dialing his super charger to get rid of any too rich or too low fuel blips. He is sitting at 340hp I think now though. I can only dream of tinkering with the boost once we finally have it!

LOL make no mistake, I miss my white one. The SRT is a hoot, but the white one was my baby.
