If some needs a little more time after the deposit I can move up the list if needed. (I owe the IRS a chunk of change but not as much as we thought we were going to.)

I don't know what order they are planning on sending the kits out, but I would like to be moved down the list a little, because I probably will not get around to installing it until late spring or summer.

I have the same problem as witchall

Except I crashed my ATV and now need major dental work. So gonna need to put the turbo on the back burner for awhile. I would like to ask for first dibs on any dual intakes from the you lucky members getting the turbo. Would be nice to have something to play with till I can save up for a turbo of my own.

Thank
Sive

I've been following this with a great deal of interest. Can i ask a few stupid questions? I've seen posts on the "SOUPED" up NA's that say they will blow rods etc without mods to the engine. How will this set up affect the NA engine? How much do you think it would cost to have someone install this kit? I simply do not have the expertise and set up for this, but i would love to have it!
Thanks!

I don't remember hearing of anyone having a catastrophic engine failure on this forum.. I trust Corky Bell, and would be more concerned with the transmission and rear than the engine. My guess for an install would be $500-$1000. It should be as easy as putting a muffler, flash tune and intake on the car and shouldn't take more than a day for a professional to install.

Although there isnt any way I would be able to afford a mod like this any time soon I do eagerly await dyno numbers and initial buyer's impressions on the kit. It sounds like BEGi is a very professional company and is going into this project with a ton of knowledge and experience, which always produces great results. I look forward to results on the NA engine for those of us who will not skimp on driving a sports car with a MANUAL TRANSMISSION!

Thanks Lantanatx for all the time and work you are putting in this to get it all together. I was hoping to see more deposits by now. I see some non-form members are interested, have any given Korky any deposits that you know of?
I would have liked to have my car as a prototype but it is a 37 hour drive to Korky's shop.

Thanks again
BJames

My car is ready to go.

Removed the crossbrace from underneath the roadster and installed it on Little Red XF (soon to be BIG Red XF) so Corky can ensure the kits will fit both roadsters and coupes. FYI there are already threaded holes in the body of the car for the front mounting portion of the crossbrace. I drilled holes for the rear mounting holes and secured them with nuts and bolts

Will also be sending my manuals for reference material.

I deliver the car this Friday.

Stay tuned!

DJ, I dont care what all those Black XF owners say about you, you are a standup guy

Thanks for helping this project move along nicely and as always a HUGE thanks to Bob (Lantana).

This is one small step for the XF, one giant leap for power hungry manual owners

Thanks guys, and special thanks to DJ for looking out for the roadsters and being the guinea pig. As far a the question above regarding throwing rods and blowing up engines, it is easy for people on a forum to throw that stuff out but very hard for them to back it up. Don forget that Kleemann offered a supercharger kit fo the n/a V6. Also the V8's that Kleemann supercharges are using the same rods as the V8. I believe the 430 V8 and 320 V6 use the exact same rods. Again where are the blown engines?

If you are haven't sent a deposit and can, please do!

Very interested.. I live in Australia and was looking to upgrade to the srt-6 after having my limited for well over 3 years.. One question though.. An it's probably been covered in this thread but will the manual transmission withstand the increase of torque and power?

Borrowed this from another thread.. Sounds like you jerky boys are in luck.. LOL.

Well this project is about to really start! Corky will be meeting DJ tomorrow in El Paso to pick up his car. After a slow period things are about to get really exciting!

DONE DEAL!
CB/CF1 has been handed over to Corky.

Discussed car stuff over lunch before we parted ways. What a cool guy! If he were my neighbor I'd never get anything done cuz we'd talk all of the time!
Corky was kind enough to sign my copy of his book that I used when I rear turbo'd my Camaro. Now it stays with the Crossfire!

Anybody excited yet!?
