Well looks like it's going to be a mini vacation trip. Wife wants to go and do the River Walk down there, so probably throw in a couple days vacation time. Let me know asap on a date and hopefully it will be solid as bus tickets home will be advanced purchased. 2 for 160.. probably close to running the Tahoe down and back. Think I'm more excited about this than Christmas...

Branding might help resale value. Maybe with a BEGi logo with Corky Bell signature and numbering? For expample DJ would be 001. Thouhgts?
I prefer the 'textured silver' but, more importantly, Corky's signature and logo mean more to me. He can paint them 'plaid' as long as he signs them!
My $0.02

I'm just yanking on Lantana's chain..lol. I'm really with you on the color choice..and not a fan of the "cheapo" stick on letters..but seriously considering "BEGi" where a "limited" badge should go on the tail end. Unless of course they already have some made up at the shop that I could get.. don't want turbo written.. just BEGi ..

Great to hear we finally have the date nailed down! i will call Corky and tell him we need a firm date from him for the second prototype so that Mr. Miata can get a deal on bus tickets. I also like the textured Silver. Corky has very little ego when it comes to branding and his signature. So I doubt he has anything cool to stick on the back of the car but will ask.

Edit: I just talked to Corky and he is thinking about doing a lazer etched plaque similar to what AMG uses with logo, signature and numbering. Aslo mentioned we need a firm date for mrmiata so he can get a good deal from Greyhound.

Now that we have a date for the arrival of the first car we also now have a date for when deposits are due. Everyone, please get your deposits to Corky by January 13th! Remember he prefers check but can accept credit cards as well. Be sure to identify your deposit with both your name and contact info as well as you forum screen name.

I have just a couple of questions because I am definitely interested in getting this turbo.

I was 'semi ' racing this Camaro (newer models) the other day. He was trying to pass me but I wouldn't let him. He probably could have smoked me but I was giving him a run. I was pulled into a gas station and he passed me and nodded like ' okay i respect u ' hahaha, anyways...

Not sure if my name is added to the list but i would like to have that done but i won't be able to purchase the complete kit until around tax time so it's best if i'm toward the end.

Also, I know the deposits are due by the 13th of Jan. How much do we have to send?

Great to see you are interested! The deposit is $200. I will add you towards the end of the list. See first post which is where the list is.

Sweet! I can have 200 bucks by then. I'll have to order checks if that is more convenient because I really don't deal with them too much.

What would be estimated install costs, can it be installed by a decent mechanic or
does it require going to BEGi?
