I did the ultimate mod for a crossfire (V8)
Re: I did the ultimate mod for a crossfire (V8)
first it was a 30,000 mile engine,, Rudy has it,, it may have been the engine that he offered to install a srt6 engine and tranny into a limited for less than $10,000 i don't know what he is doing with it maybe put it into his c240 , any to answer your question sold it to rudy,,or paul not sure who gets it. jim

jim i have the pte tstat i my 32. in the summer its great but in the winter i have a hard time getting the motor up to operating temps. had to reset my -10 fan mod as it would not get hotter than 152*F. now i get 165*F but no more. sometinmes it trips a cel. i reset it with my dashdaq. just so you know
Re: I did the ultimate mod for a crossfire (V8)
I have a PTE thermostat too and it really helps in a warm climate. It takes much more time for the engine to get hot and it seems to cool down much quicker too. I don't have the -10 mod yet but it's on the agenda. Florida can get cold, but it doesn't stay cold for long. And if my impression of Jim is correct, he'll be getting that beast as hot as possible every chance he gets. (member of the Jim fan club)

The only other idea that came to mind would be using a Porsche-like script to do the Accelerated....and maybe leave off the AMX or move it off center so the word Accelerated is the main focus.
...or you could just be a badass and write "suck it" on the back and see what kind of attention you get. haha.

the lettering in the final one will match the 1968 AMX like so. this is off a 1968 amx front grille. my glasses show the size. amxs003-1.jpg jim

I have not had the chance to put any on yet. It has been too cold since I got the car back. Plus I gave Rudy all of the ones I had made...
However... There will be stickers on my car somewhere this spring before it leaves the driveway. With the approval of Rudy and Paul of course!
Any color that I can compare it to I can match
