Another step finished for the c320 Airbox
Another step finished for the c320 Airbox
If you have been following another thread, you know I recently purchased a c320 airbox. Eventually, I will be adding CAI metal tubes and a paint job to match the car.
Today I finally got to secure the rubber hoses that are squeezed through the core support. I rolled some steel to keep the hoses round at the opening.
Just for something different, I added some stripe action to the cover until I decide how to finish it.

Here is something I would like to point out - it took me by surprise when I came arcoss these. If these are mentioned somewhere, I totally missed it. In order to run the largest silicone hose through the core support, I had to remove these. Each one is held in by 2 push-pins. It takes some magic to get them out, but you can. I am still wondering why the little flappers are needed. Do you think they work like roof flaps on Nascar Two more parts for the Crossfire OEM box in storage!
