wait wait wait....governor?????? I had my limited to 148 and it would not budge. Are we sure the reason is a governor? I thought it just had nothing left...i was too scared to look at the tach. If the SRT is that fast I am upgrading...not kidding.

I guess I passed an off duty highway patrol in his minivan with his wife. The tickets were for exceeding 100 mph in traffic, and following too closely. Not that he could have shown it on radar, but I ended up paying a 150 dollar court cost, and 20 hrs of community service. I personally wasn't going to risk losing my liscense by pleading not guilty. Just remember anyone with a cell phone can report you.
No pictures from a camera or proof of any kind? If it was me I don't think so, if they can't prove it I am not admitting it. I am not criticizing you but a system that lets unsupported accusations result in a conviction is just wrong. JMHO

theres a reason theyre called limited editions. lol. i had my 04 up around 140 before wetting my pants and slowing down. the needle was still moving quick enough to where i wouldnt be suprised if the needle didnt start to slow down til the mid 160's range. the guy who said 173 seems about right. those mercedes and audis just get to obscene top speeds for the money they cost when you remove those faggott governing cables.
