Looks good Jim. What did you use to paint your SRT-6 letters?

I used a high heat engine enamel, just masked and sprayed. The valve covers and supercharger are also painted with a HH engine paint, that's why it doesn't match the SSB, it's as close as I could get. And though you cant see it, I even painted the bolts the contrasting colors. Thanks for the compliment

I decided to paint the SRT6 letters/numbers.

I still haven't even attempted to clean the engine yet.

Looks good! For engine cleaning, I just purchased an engine cleaning device from Harbor Freight, consisting of a wand with syphon tube that is used with a compressor and a container of degreasing fluid of your choice. Haven't tried it yet but it looks as if it will work.

I have had one of those for maybe 25 years, don't use it much, but when I do, I prefer kerosene. Gives a good mechanical aroma when you're done and fire 'er up !!!!

Although it took me months to get the pieces together, I finally slapped this mess together on November 8-10 before heading off on a 15 day southern brewpub tour as far down as Jacksonville. As you can see it's still a work in progress but it's coming along.

By the way, the only other Crossfire I saw along the way was in a dealer lot in Salisbury, MD. If you saw me I was the guy who forgot to reinstall the front grill ...lol

A special THANK YOU!! to Rob@Needswings for expediting a pair of teflon coated valve covers to me just in the nick of time. The bottom of the box with my originals open while I was taken them to the powder coater and one of them cracked. A D'oh moment!
