Ok small change of plans. Our stage 1 kit will not include a CAI but will include the use of the stock airbox with some modifications.

With our current modifications to the Stock Airbox we will still be able to hit 250 HP.

The Stock Airbox mods will include new higher flower intake tubes, high flow filters, gutted and descreened airbox, and increased air box cooling. This mod alone will net about 10 HP to a stock Crossfire.

Will this drop the price significantly?

The price will remain around the same price. The intake option will be the CAI or the stock modified box. The price of 1K includes installation if done with us.

Basically you will need to mail in the ECU and Airbox (postage covered by us). We will modify and send out along with injectors.

The stock airbox includes more labor and less hard parts, and the CAI includes more hard parts but less labor. Basically comes out to the same cost.

We've noticed that a lot of members want to pop the hood and everything looks completely stock and we will make that an option.

As far as package 1 and then package 2 prices go, it will be a progressive system. You can buy stage two on its own, but it will post the same gains as if you had stage 1. 1+1=3 in this instance.

Our packages will focus on the Crossfire's weaknesses one step at a time in the most efficeint order. We want you to see the most gains for your money. The first two stages will show the highest gains per dollar spent, and the subsequent stages will offer more advanced modifications, at a lower HP/$ value. That's just how modifying cars goes. You pay 2K for your V8 to produce 400HP and another 2K for 450HP.

For now though, let's focus on stage 1.

I'm down, just let me know when you're ready. I'm just an hour out of New Jersey in southern Connecticut. I'll drive down there early on a Saturday. Can we get this done in one day? Or should I get a local Hotel?

I'd be interested in the stage 1 with stock airbox but of course I want to see dynos from a reputable shop with both your intake and the stock intake. Anything we can sneak by the dealer is appreicated!

More than likely I'll add the crank pulley and the other stuff if it comes out to be less than $1500 for 268 PROVEN horsepower. Thats a steal.

I paid $700 for my Billy Boat Exhaust for my Porsche and it gained me around 4hp. So yeah.

Remember, we want deatailed dyno sheets and if you can when you're taking the dyno do a video and show the computer monitor with the gains. THIS WILL NOT ONLY HELP PEOPLE MAKE UP THEIR MINDS BUT WILL KEEP CERTAIN PEOPLE FROM DOUBTING ANYTHING YOU SAY ONCE AND FOR ALL.

Just trying to help you out. You're putting a lot of effort here nad hopefully we can benefit. You'll make money and we'll get power.

I would definitely be interested in at least the stage one upgrade. You're about 3 hours away from me and I would be willing to make the drive to your shop for the install. Please keep us inforned with details.

If I come to woodward do I have a place where I can replace injectors? I can provide tools and such, but a place to dump fuel is always good. For some reason the govt. frowns on dumping it in sewers and rivers...

If you just get the tune it will run fine. It's when you start adding a tune to an intake that the engine runs lean.

The price of the injectors alone will be 450.00 and comes with all necessary hardware to work with the stock fuel rail.

I would like to see a scan of the dyno report so I can see where the gains are.

Is this possible?

Thanks

FYI my NA XF power breaks up as follows

100 Octane PowerChip 244HP A$1000
Three inch exhaust 20HP A$500 (conservative HP)
CAI home made 15HP? A$ 25 (conservative HP)

TOTAL HP 275 COST A$1525 approx US$1300

So TVT sounds like a great deal
my two bits

Subscribed. The MB guys have done similar mods (minus CAI) to their cars and have made LOTS less power... Dynos would be great to see...

If I get just the infectors, how many hours of labor does it take to put them in? I have the Upsolute tune will I need another one after the new injectors? What was the gains of the injectors? Thanks.

The biggest thing is the addition of larger injectors. The stock ones run way too lean in the Upper RPM band for any serious power.

With our airbox mods we should still be seeing a little over 250, but with the addition of the CAI probably closer to 260HP.

Everything will look much better with a Dyno and some video.

Ok good, stage 1 I would want the air box mod instead of CAI because I plan on installing a super e-ram. Anywho I would like to buy stage 2 so Im readily waiting for dynos and date to order. One more thing, has anyone heard anything about aftermarket turbos because the warranty is up on alot of crossfires like mine which is a 04 but it only has 26k miles.. THANKS
