He paid all shipping costs for the exchange and the new kit is now reinstalled and has absolutely no problems after several hundred miles of recent driving.
My thanks to Rob for his efforts in the refab of this product and the constant communication throughout to keep us informed as to the progress of the job.

The breather hose inlet and MAF sensor have been repositioned

I'm intrigued and interested but undecided. We have monsoon rains here and lots of areas that are drained swamps. ie no drainage and several inches and sometimes more of standing water. Heck, even the sea level areas flood, the drains are all full of sand! Give me a week or two to convince myself that I wont drive in bad weather, like its so predictable here.

just to update everyone on the NA front ... with the updated intake no engine light and the gas mileage got even better ... at 27mpg now highway from below 26 before and 25 stock ... the power difference is definately feelable but best of all is the sound it makes ... silent at cruise and sweet at high rpm ... as it should be.
this along with a ECU reflash are the only mods i recommend for the daily drivers that have long highway commutes .. unfortunately as much as i love the magnaflows sound at WOT it drones too much at cruise.
also, i have driven in horrible rain with it and it is not a problem ... as far as standing water goes. if its deep enough to reach the filter, you should not go through regardless as it will seep into every part of the car body that it should not be in and start the rust and rot. i know turning around may not be a option at times...but i've seen the damage that can cause.
