Do these come with installation instructions "for dummies"? Or is this something that should be installed by a professional?

Keep in mind, the damn washer on my gas pedal assembly kicked my butt last weekend. I'm not feeling like a mechanical genius right now.

You use the BFH to work on things that are TFB or TFS.

You'll also need a metric crescent wrench, and a metric phillips screwdriver.

In all reality......it really does go on pretty easy. Just take your time.

Once it's finished, I guarantee you'll stand back and say "that really wasn't that hard."

yes, instructions will be in pdf format on a cdr, id recommend bringing the laptop out to the workbench as it would print 26 pages long since i go overkill with pictures

and wash your hands after the oem stuff is off since im sure fingerprints on the new powdercoat would be a bummer

Just wondering - is it better to make it a one beer job - and say you've done it quickly... or is it better to make it a case of beer job and say you've done it thoroughly???

 

Hmmm... a 2 beer job? That's age dependent. When I was 20-something that would have been 5 minutes. Now it's more like two hours.

 

yeah i am pretty curious to know how much of a job this intake is, i will be installing my upper and lower grill at the same time, so i plan on a case of beer for both projects.

 

Plan on putting my CAI on this weekend.
