Default ECU upgrade via OBD II port ?

I'd like to get a ECU power upgrade but I'm not crazy about pulling out my ECU from my new CrossFire and shipping it out somewhere. I've had some FoMoCo products in the past which accept ECU re-flash programs via the OBD II port under the dash using Hypertech, SCT or Diablo handheld programmers. I like this route a LOT better than having to send my car's "brain" off in the mail. I also liked the ability to make tweaky mods from inside the car between test runs or removing the "tune" altogether when I needed to. Anybody make a "Flash" tuner for these cars yet ?

Thanks,

Cincinnati Slim

Haven't seen one yet. I would live if Hypertech/Jet/Diablo etc. made one. I had one on my 2001 Silverado 5.3 V8 and it was great.
Guess we'll keep hoping.

Those Diagnostic port flash tuners are really cool.

It is pretty neat being able to hop up your car without opening the hood or even getting your hands dirty !

save yourself time and energy and send it to SI. i think they get it back to you next day, so if you overnight it you are only out a car 3 days.

Or you can try doing some research on REVO http://www.bigboyztoys.co.uk/shop/in...php?pages_id=4 they say they tune Mercedes ECU's.

I think they sell a cool little gadget for the audis which plugs into your serial port, for switching between stock map ecu and tuned ecu. Kinda makes me want to buy an Audi S4 just for the number of upgrade mods out there for those cars.
