Default Cooling Fan

Saturday I opened the garage and turned on the key and the cooling fan came on before I started the engine, It was hot but it has never done that before. Has anyone had that happen?

Was the air conditioner on? That is the only time that I notice mine doing that.

Unfortunately during my rebuild, I must have removed a circuit that trips the cooling fan to run at high speed constantly. I'm not too worried about it since the car is used for the track only, but there is a thermostatic switch that controls the fan. If you car is under warranty take it to the dealer.

Search the TSB section on this forum, you may fall into that category.

Well danimal now that I think about it maybe so, my wife will sometimes run it even with the top down. I will have to try it again. The temp was normal so that sounds correct. Duuuaaa...
