But the only "new" Crossfires are '05s, we're already into the second quarter of '06, and there's still no firm word on the car's future. All that sux from a prospective buyer's viewpoint. It doesn't mean the car is bad.
Also, although I'm new to the Crossfire and these forums, I remember reading a year or more ago about Chrysler's "failed" introduction of the Crossfire. I don't know exactly what the car mag meant, but I think it had to do with pricing. IIRC they thought DC needed to do a better job of explaining the XF as an inexpensive Benz for a Chrysler price, cuz without that explanation it seemed to many people to be an expensive Chrysler.
Or just introduce it with lower prices. Which they didn't, of course, and now there's not much else they can do to move the remaining inventory.
My $.02, just an opinion. But I wouldn't blame the car. Sure, it has some faults, but my aero blue coupe draws more thumbs up, admiring looks and "Nice car!" comments than anything I've had since my 197-whatever-it-was Lotus Elite. Proper marketing, earlier, probably would have helped a lot.

There is one great upside to the Crossfire. The design is forever frozen in time.
If you own one, you own the only design that the car will ever have. It doesn't make any difference if the car is a '04, '05 or '06 model. They are all the same.
Unlike a vette, porsche, etc. you don't have to worry about ever owning the "last's year model". What you own is all they will ever make. I like that!
