These auto type lithum batteries are not commercially in the market for a reason, and I believe that in my EE mind these are a curiosity at this stage. You can make up a battery pack but it will cost you with in time and money to create the wheel. I use lithium in my planes but to scale up to a car and boat is fraught with first time oopsies and golly I did not know that events.
Charging is critical as the chemistry dies if over charged or the cells are allowed to be discharges too far, read up about the issue of Tesla cars becoming a brick if not charged in time. Color me un impressed, Woody
