Default Removing torque limiters, help

It can do by star dyagnostics,to remove torque limiters from gearbox, shifting is more faster, and timing is always in - not drops on changing gears, also throttle body not closes and boost dont drop a little bit when changing gear, did amybody do that tune?

Maybe Rudy would like a trip to Georgia, the one in Europe. Tbilisi is the capital of that country. Nice trip.

Toast. So the transmission lasts the converter unlocks, shift takes place, converter relocks. This would be if the converter is locked under WOT as in an American car that will remain unnamed. I know with mine when it is about to shift if it has revved to quickly and goes a bit past the 6200rpm redline the ESP engages and I get a jolt as torque is reduced quickly and hard. I would have to look at a datalog but it is likely the boost drops off before a shift also. Wolf have you ever done stacked pulleys, not the 178/65 but something milder like the 178/70 that I have? You are looking at the odd places for finding power. Things like weight loss. Sure you could gut the car, rip the stereo, delete the AC.
I suggest you stay with the tried and proven ways to make the car quicker remembering that a high 11 is what you can expect, maybe an 11.5 with ideal track conditions and a perfectly tuned car. The unlocking/relocking, boost drop/psi up takes micro seconds. I know of a guy who controlled his converter lock feature with the OD switch so he could keep the converter locked during shifts and so far the truck tranny he had swapped in was holding up but it was still very rough on the drivetrain and remember he had put a truck tranny in his car in order to have the tranny last a bit longer than the stock one. You would likely have to sign a waiver relinquishing all claims in the tune/tranny.

Where do you get this tune? The E/C tranny tune is said to still have not been perfected and they certainly would not intentionally put a tune out that would damage the tranny given enough time. Good luck and tell us more when you find out!

In a recent study done with the Carbon Fiber wheels on a Ford GT (I think), losing weight in the rotational parts is worth much more than just the total weight loss. Losing 5 lbs in rotational weight is like losing 100 lbs in vehicle weight. Not to mention quicker steering and shorter stopping.

I've read a lot of weight conversions Jim but you are right, unsprung weight is where we would like to remove weight. I could not believe how heavy the stock resonator and muffler are, wow! Wheels can be very costly. Well over $1000. a set for the light weight versions. I am looking for wheels now. I want to run a 275 in the rear but need a 9" wheel with back spacing around 6.25", stock is around 6". many light weights that are reasonable are only 15".
