Default Traction Control

Hi Guys and Gals,

I am wondering if anybody turns off the traction control when driving around town?

Thanks,

Michael

ALL THE TIME, unless there is a lot of traffic or rain. With a good "R" compound tire and traction control off it never hacks the torque, I suppose the tune has some to do with that also. Mark

I wish the default was off instead of on.

The body shop called and cancelled my appointment.. they said 4 years has been too long. (it's been that long since it "went out" on my 04 coupe). She even took a run to the Dragon.. followed 4 SRT6's on a hot run to the lodge and never lost the tail lights on them.

I turn my off all the time unless its raining then I leave it alone. The traction control systems on these cars are more dangerous left on in my opinion. Cutting power to 0 when slippage is detected is not something I like.

Torque is cut of course and I had mine react in such a violent manner that it threw and shredded the belt. There seems to be a limit to what the tuners can disable with this ESP but the sticky tire finishes the rest. It is activated when slippage is detected. I ran TOYO PROXES R888's last spring and that ESP feature never came into play so rather, I played

I have it on all the time, i don't even notice it. It pop on once and it kinda saved my *** from slipping from a cliff.

I have Pirelli P Zero tires and never did come on again.

Please list your mods in you sig. The more power the engine makes the more likely the tires will spin and activate ESP even if it is OFF. Traction is paramount and I am going to put the TOYO PROXES on again. No spin with then even if it is launched at 1500rpm. That is where Rob of NW says to launch at. Also welcome! Mark
