Default New Owner 2005 Crossfire SRT6

I just purchased my first Crossfire. Being new to a Crossfire, I'm asking for a few ideas as to what to look for in the way of possible issues and expected repairs at 53000 miles. The seller had all the service records and there's no record of brake pad changes. He also told me he never put new pads on it. The front rotors look great but the back are a bit grooved but not to bad. I am very surprised the pads were never changed with 53000 miles. I was also told the water pump was changed along with the belt. The belt I can see and does look new. Also, he mentioned the headlights were replaced due to the lens's getting dull. There is a service record showing this.
Any help will be truly appreciated.

Brake fluid flush, differential fluid replaced, check that the intercooler pump since they like to fail, have a spare BOSCH crankshaft position sensor handy, enjoy the car...

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the SRT6.

As stated - I have replaced my diff and brake fluid and intercooler pump(it died on me). The link provided gives a lot of information(maybe information overload to start with) but it is a great way to learn about the car.

I guess I need to get a crankshaft position censor now!

Why would you need a new Crankshaft Position Sensor.

They tend to fail when is least convenient. Having a spare in the glove box, (it's been awhile since I changed mine, I believe it's E8 external), 8" extention, and a smaller ratchet could save you a couple hundred dollars with towing costs. Pretty simple repair, just a bit of a pain to access, especially if the motor is hot.

It is an E-8, Power Sedan. I don't know where my friend got the one he gave me, but it came with a magnetic socket as part of it. That was a nice idea.
