Ive had the tweaked manifolds with a tune and now currently the big replacement manifolds with a tune.. the tweaked one for sure increase some tq in the low end.. the bigger manifolds for some reason made my ECU take about 250 or so miles to fully adjust to the new setup but man the results are great.. the gain from the tweaked to the big ones was equal to stock manis to the tweaked ones. I made 361whp/361wtq with the big manifolds on a 65mm pulley

I think Wolf is asking about Rob's new "log headers". I am curious also as I was poised to get a set but price wise I could not afford them. I was going to 3 dyno pulls but each pull required a set-up which is where most of the cost is. One as my car sits, another with just the headers added and finally with the addition of a Magnaflow TRU internal x-pipe followed by a Magnaflow "Y" pipe, resonator delete and a Borla Pro out back. I made Rob an offer for his prototype set as they were the least expensive but no deal.
Wolf I don't know what you have for your exhaust now but I have seen where guys who have a quality exhaust did not gain much with the downpioes cutout's open which says the quality exhaust components do their job. Still interested in dyno results on these headers myself though. I'll have my mufflers and "Y", with resonator delete done soon and will try to get numbers for those parts. The reason for 2 mufflers is that I do not want a loud car and the Borla's and hooker mufflers do not drone so the resonator is not needed.

Good luck with that. I'll believe that when I hear it....... I mean, when I don't hear it.
I sincerely hope that you get no drone, but when you start deleting and tweaking the stock exhaust, it's tough to eliminate all drone at all R.P.M.'s. The truX crossover pipe should help alleviate drone.

I and friends of mine have been using the Borla Pro's for years and there is no drone. They are as loud as most other brands just no drone. That is why I am using 2 mufflers, I want the car to be stock like as far as loudness is concerned. Flowmasters are the worst. PYPES may come close to first also. Dynomax, drone.
