550cc fuel injectors, BOSCH for $225.
You can check the link near the end of the "how to change fuel injectors". Great deal and I am using them myself. THX, mark
Here is the link, they come with adapters to allow use with our injector harness. That is also a shipped price!

Re: 550cc fuel injectors, BOSCH for $225.
Just wondering if these can be a plug and play DIY by themselves on a 65mm car and not require a tune.
Maybe even retain the stock fuel pump.
That is - would the ECU adjust based on STFT/LTFT?
I know a tune would be best - but what if you didnt???
My car does 20mpg now(alot of city blaat...;>) and my LTFT's in both banks run around -2%.
Just looking at how I can stage/assess my upgrades.....

Re: 550cc fuel injectors, BOSCH for $225.
B2B do you have a wideband yet? Must have one. Every guy here who has any mods should have a wideband doing some of the guesswork on drivability he can go to the restroom to saving the motor.
I cannot answer on the need for a tune since I am using the tune from last year for 450cc injectors myself. I think the idle will work out easily but the rest would need a tune of somesort. I'd get the injectors even if you are not going to use them right away. I have all of my exhaust waiting for me to decide if I want to spend that much at this time. The injectors are needed as you try for a stacked set-up and the boost they come with. You have a 65mm SC pulley, that is fine as many have that size with no tunes. What crank pulley are you looking to get? You will need the imnjectors then and a tune of course. I am trying to get ahold of a water injection company to see what benefits their system offers. Later

Re: 550cc fuel injectors, BOSCH for $225.
Here's an interesting one......the add says 550cc at 52lb......if you adopt the rule of squares and work it out a the normal 3bar (44.1lb)...you get 396cc...
44.1^2 / 52^2 x 550cc = 396
32Krazy (SLK32) once stated our stock injectors were 440cc and elsewhere I've read between 390 and 450cc, but would need to dig around my notes.
I do like the 6 hole pattern though....but then again - maybe more chance of blocking.....
Would be good to know my injectors are new.....and the price is good.
Assuming the latency etc is all good for tuning.

From what I have observed, a tune would be best but the ECU would make adjustments with the bigger injectors. The duty cycle would be decreased, performance would not be. I have been OK with the stock iunjectors but I'm sure that it would benefit me to shorten the duty cycle.

Where are you getting the 44.1 lb at 3 bar? Do a google for the part number, you get 550cc at 3 bar.
There are other guys selling what appears to be the same injector advertised at 550cc. Try checking ebay for similar injectors with that EV-14 (ours have an ev-1 clip I believe) If you or anyone is going stacked I would recommend 550cc injectors.
Jim, do you have a wideband, you must right? My stock injectors were maxed out according to Jerry and he said I needed larger injectors. With these cars is there a way for us to see the duty cycle? I could on other cars and I never wanted to go over 80%.
Re: 550cc fuel injectors, BOSCH for $225.
I can tell you first hand:
1) A tune is a MUST. I was crazy rich (9-10 on the wide band) running these. Gas mileage dropped to 12mpg, and 1/4 mile time was a full SECOND slower. Back when I tried them, EC couldn't even get a good tune on them. I hear they have a proper base-map now.
2) Those adapters don't fit in every position. I believe it was the front 2 cylinders that the space was too small. I went with the pigtail style and those will fit.

A photo of the installed injectors? SWEET is quite technologically illiterate but will try! I just spun the injectors towards the direction needed, no problem really but tight, somewhat.

Re: 550cc fuel injectors, BOSCH for $225.
The ad says 550-c at 3 bar. I can tell you they ran pig rich with the first E/C tune. The Bosch part number says they are 52lb. injectors. B22B you must know a lot about injectors but if Bosch says 550cc and the ad says 550cc at 3 bar stock injectors are 440cc. Had one flowed.

Re: 550cc fuel injectors, BOSCH for $225.
I have a Zeitronix but currently is not hooked up as I never figured out an unobtrusive place to put it permanently. You would have to determine the fuel usage at WOT and compare it to the flow rate of the injectors. It is not recommended to be above 75% duty cycle but I suspect that at WOT, I may be close to 90%, maybe even higher.
I am looking forward to Billy22Bob's stack with the 65mm SC pulley, forgot the crank pulley right now but I think he will be pushing 25psi easily. the fuel with the 550's and the adjustable regulator will supply enough fuel but will the SC be pumping hot air?
Re: 550cc fuel injectors, BOSCH for $225.
The 550's will take whatever demands are put on these cars. I always used 80% duty as my limit. Jim, I believe you run more boost that I do and I could not get 500cc injectors to work well so I sent them back(used) for the new ones I have. When looking at the extra cover that is on the valve cover it is easy to see where the injector has to turn with the adapter on it.

Re: 550cc fuel injectors, BOSCH for $225.
O.C.D.? Jerry has done a few tunes for me. If I needed another tune it would be a remote dyno tune at $150./hour, estimated time 2 hours. All they can do is change the timing and fuel since the transmission is separate and not quite perfected last I heard. Once the timing is dialed in it becomes a fuel issue. I am running 550cc injectors with a 450cc tune that was done for the time I used TORCO with each fill. The 550cc tune ran way too rich and the tune with fuel removed did not "take" to my ECU. To compensate for the extra timing(1.5*) I believe I run it a bit on the rich side. I believe I have 5 different tunes from EC all free.
