New CAI and Exhaust
Re: New CAI and Exhaust
Going with a smaller SC pulley is the norm, George. The crank pulleys are the ones that are larger in diameter than stock...and cost a heck of a lot more than the SC pulleys. Seeing as how no one sells one smaller than 65mm anymore, Eurocharged is your only real choice.
Re: New CAI and Exhaust
I started with a 65mm supercharger pulley and currently have an ASP 178 crankshaft pulley on my car. The beauty of the supercharger pulley is the ease of installation. After doing it once, it can be done in under 1/2 hour. The 178 crank pulley makes a little more power than the 65mm S/C pulley. The downside is the installation. To get the pulley torqued correctly you need a 4 ft. bar and tool to keep crankshaft from rotating. I did mine on a lift. It took me holding the tool with an extension bar and a second person with the torque wrench up to spec. and then 4ft. extension for the extra 90º you have to turn the NEW crankshaft pulley bolt.

I,m having a brain fart, how would a smaller crank pully be more productive on an NA?
