Default p0117 after coolant system restoration

Hey guys I have been trying to restore my c32 that I picked up that needed work desperately. I just got done replace all radiator hoses, code 3 thermostat, crank pulley with asp pulley, lm21 belt wrap. After I put together everything, the car keeps pulsing at idle. Almost like a misfire. I keep getting a p0117 engine coolant temp circuit low.

Maybe i just need to keep the car running until it reaches operating temp?? I also left off the bumper so ambient temp sensor is unplugged, though that shouldn't make a difference. Also my battery did die a fee weeks back while ibwas working on it but I trickle charged a week and a half ago and it was still fine to start the car today.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

If your battery died it is probably no good. modern cars are very voltage sensitive.
If its the oringinal white chrysler battery it is definitely no good

I had broken the ect sensor. Good thing I bought a new one. The plastic on the connector had separated from the little metal thing

Exactly lol. Now my stupid fans won't come on!!! I get the "coolant!! Visit workshop" error. Front sam and relay are good. You think fan is dead?

I assume you have checked all connections. Checked relay?

Yea. Relay clicks over and there is power at the connector. Weird thing is that when the ect was broke fan was on turbo speed. But now nothing. I even unplugged the act again just to see if it would come on but no dice

Well, if the fan was working before, I doubt it just went bad. Retrace all your steps again. Check every connection, to make sure they are making ground, and let it run, but not over heat. I am sure you are missing something simple here. It can happen when want something work now...lol

I retraced everything everything's hooked up,there's power to the connector, only answer is the module now it seems. Is there a way to by pads the module and then just power the fan directly

Have you tried to power the fan directly? I have never had the problem, so I have never tried to by pass the module.... Not sure why the module would go unless something shorted it out, too much voltage or something of that nature. I would put power to the fan to make sure it still works, then back to the module...

Seems I read once where that could make a difference. The computers aren't happy if all their minions aren't reporting in on schedule.
Just sayin .....
