p0117 after coolant system restoration
Hey guys I have been trying to restore my c32 that I picked up that needed work desperately. I just got done replace all radiator hoses, code 3 thermostat, crank pulley with asp pulley, lm21 belt wrap. After I put together everything, the car keeps pulsing at idle. Almost like a misfire. I keep getting a p0117 engine coolant temp circuit low.
Maybe i just need to keep the car running until it reaches operating temp?? I also left off the bumper so ambient temp sensor is unplugged, though that shouldn't make a difference. Also my battery did die a fee weeks back while ibwas working on it but I trickle charged a week and a half ago and it was still fine to start the car today.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Re: p0117 after coolant system restoration
Well, if the fan was working before, I doubt it just went bad. Retrace all your steps again. Check every connection, to make sure they are making ground, and let it run, but not over heat. I am sure you are missing something simple here. It can happen when want something work now...lol
Re: p0117 after coolant system restoration
Have you tried to power the fan directly? I have never had the problem, so I have never tried to by pass the module.... Not sure why the module would go unless something shorted it out, too much voltage or something of that nature. I would put power to the fan to make sure it still works, then back to the module...
