SRT6 Convertible, Melbourne FL up for sale soon
SRT6 Convertible, Melbourne FL up for sale soon
Gang,
I bought an SRT6 convertible (30k miles) with a light front end accident. I've finally finished the repairs and put about 400 miles on the car. I'm still chasing some parasitic battery drain issues. I'll be selling the car soon. This is my fourth light accident vehicle and I'm getting tired of the process.
Car is pretty clean and has been repainted. The previous accident was limited to the drivers side front. I had to replace the hood, grill, front bumper cover, DS front fender, DS fender apron, dash airbag, and upper and lower radiator core supports. I bought a 2004 Coupe with a light rear end accident as the donor car.
The car has a lot of good life left in it. I only have one key. The car does have a rebuilt title (meaning it passed the Florida DOT inspection).
Best wishes and thanks, Mark (mrogers22@cfl.rr.com, 321-795-2426). I'll be out of communication from Sept 1 through Oct 28th.

Will do. I'm really not ready to sell yet, but would if someone wanted it now. I'm hoping to have it on the market in the next several months. I was hoping that if I gave advance notice, it might draw some interest. It also give people time to find a better car at a lower price. If so, that's good for them as well.
Re: SRT6 Convertible, Melbourne FL up for sale soon
I do have the emblems and side trim and I will install them. The interior is in good shape, no major issues, but not in pristine condition.
Kelly Bluebook values: Exc: $15467, Very Good: $15072, Good: $14781, Fair: $13901.
I'm hoping for $15k, but with the battery drains not being worked out $14k is more likely.
Its a good car, but not anywhere near "pristine" or "very good". Its much, much better than "fair".
I don't know how badly the rebuilt title will hurt the car (I do have a lot of before pictures and some after on the fixes). The airbag light can't help my cause any as well.
Re: SRT6 Convertible, Melbourne FL up for sale soon
Please take no offense to this, but a rebuilt title kills the price of a car...especially with Florida's new title laws. Your "rebuilt" title will claim it could have been a total loss, regardless of whether or not it was. My father does this for a living. He has for the past 35 years and his knowledge of the market says that's a $9,000 car now. Hate to break it to you but that rebuilt title was a curse.
