Nothing to be ashamed of at that.
No not at all! Still great times, im still optimistic though . I feel like i have a very strong motor in my 6 ! Did you gain a lot from the port and polish?

Stay optimistic. Go get that 11. You'll need drag radials though.

Hard to tell, I haven't dynoed the car after every mod. It's a carry over from the old days. The intake on the Xfire looked cleaner than they used to look, so I suspect that the gain was minimal. The flow numbers showed only a small gain and that was near max so it might give a little at the top end. I think where a lot of false info comes from quotes of gains for individual mods, ie. 40-45 for DCAI then 15-20 for modded manifolds but combine the two and you won't get 65, there the gain is closer to the lowest total, ie. 55 or less. Just like when I was young, you find a lot of stretching the truth when it comes to cars, even on this forum. That's why most of the seniors say show us the slip or dyno sheet, it's also why I keep my numbers to myself, I'm not trying to prove anything to anybody. I just enjoy tinkering to see what I can achieve. Be happy with whatever you get.

Yep. I think I am getting a tad over 600 HP from my NA, but I haven't dyno'd it yet.

I have dyno charts for most of my modifications, including tunes. At times I changed 2 things at once, for instance the downpipes and teflon Y pipe. I've run at the drag strip with the 178 ASP pulley and stacked. (178 and 65mm Code 3) I may throw on the Code 3 for a stacked dyno pull for the fun of it. The drag strip, for me, says stacked is .01 faster. I'll let others guess why. I can tell you it pulled like crazy in 1rst and 2nd but laid down in 3rd. something terrible. Again, others can speculate if they desire. The 16hp for the manifolds is a fact on my car, in my weather, which varies very little. So you can expect gains from the modded manifolds.

As an aside, I'd try to fit slightly larger valves in the engine and forego the porting, polishing or custom cams. I've almost had Rob do it for me a few times and whats stopped me is my engine runs so darn great I don't want to risk losing drivability. Well, for now anyway.

Manifolds are on along with the teflon y pipe and new custom tune from Jerry! The car has a deeper type growl to it and the SC whins a bit louder for sure! Tourqe and hp gains are FOR SURE there.. espically past 60

Rob is a great guy and makes the best!

that is how NOT to package manifolds as they indeed arrived damaged and I now have to machine the gasket mating surface on them to get them back to usable.

yes the srt6 is gone but we do still have the c32 which we are still building parts for. there are a few srt6's running around with our new 90mm tb on them thus far as well as a few other prototype srt6 goodies

if there was it wasn't deep enough to cause a leak as we pressure test the manifolds once the welding is finished and again after they have been ported and coated, we test at 30psi.

we will release the new goodies once I am comfortable that they are ready to go. we are still testing them though so it may be a week or 3 months depending on how everything holds up in testing.
