stock infinity amplifier?
stock infinity amplifier?
Anyone happen to know the stats to the amp under the passenger floor board? I'm looking to swapping out all my stereo system but if I can just keep that amp and save some money I am all for it. I'm looking to keep that amp to power the door speakers and then get a separate amp for the behind seat subs.
If I have to I'll get a new one but was also wandering if anyone has the dimensions? I work offshore so kind of unable to get to the car to do my own digging around.
Thanks!!!

Re: stock infinity amplifier?
There is a thread on this forum somewhere.
I used the info in the thread to split the factory amp into 4 channels to run with an aftermarket head unit.
I ran the fronts to the amp that goes to the doors and ran the rears to the amp that I separated the wiring to the rear subs.
This allows me to use the fader control to adjust the sub volume separately.
Also the stock amp is set up for high input in. Do not use preouts to run to the factory amp. 2 volts just won't give enough volume.
